Roth, who is seventy and has Parkinson disease, tell this story on himself.
"He was about to enter the pool holding onto the ladder when a young girl swims right to it.
I thought she would let me go first because of my age but no she grabs the railing and lifts
herself out of the water, swings past me into a wheelchair, It was then I noticed she had no legs
from the knees down. And I thought I was handicapped."
