There he was in a 1943 photo with buddies on Guardacanal. He was 24 strong and confident.
At 79 he I frail and fearful sitting on the edge of a bed. He is fighting at different war now and he is fighting it alone. A Bible near his bed remains unread. Have your turned to God or are you totally relying on yourself?
"Man is like grass, The grass withers and falls away, but the word of the Lord endures forever."
