Today Barrack Obama became the 44th President of the United States of America.
It is a historic inauguration and we are all witnesses. As I watched the ceremony on television and the millions who braved freezing temperatures on the Mall in Washington DC a proverb came to to mind for our new Commander in Chief.
"Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding,
acknowledge him in all you ways and he will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6)
Join me in praying for our new President. In these challenging times remember these comforting words:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 NIV)
