Weekend of July 4
We still pledge to our flag, "one nation under God." But we are not one nation under God.
There are those who take offense at the word God. That offends me.
My prayer is that "In God we trust" will be more than a phrase.
May God continue to bless America.
"If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal
their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
