There are three keys to a lasting marriage and Joy and I have embraced them for 18 happy years.
First you need true love, which is a daily commitment to put the other person first.
Second is keeping God in the center of the marriage.
And lastly pray together about everything. When we hit the inevitable bumps in the road in our relationship at least one of us has to have the wisdom to say, "Lets pray about this." And do it.
"Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perserveres. Love never fails."
1 Corinthians 13:7&8
