Loving Correction

April 29

The words stung. The truth often does. I couldn't blame anyone else .I was quiet. I was hurt. She sensed this and said she was sorry if she hurt me. Wisely, she didn't apologize for what she said.

As a loving wife she was sorry if her words hurt me. It was my wife’s voice but I felt the correction was from the Lord

"My son do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction;
For whom the Lord loves He corrects,Just as a father the son in whom he delights." (Proverbs 2:11-12)
