Bruce Wilkinson wrote,The Prayer of Jabez, a book based on two lesser-known verses in the Bible, which, thanks to Wilkinson are no longer obscure.
I prayed the prayer for thirty days as the book recommends and found myself leading a small group and assisting an interim pastor when our senior pastor went on emergency medical leave.
“Oh, that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me. and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain.
So God granted him (Jabez) what he requested.” (1 Chronicles 4:10)
