The Christmas carol on the radio ends. There is a moment if silence. A boy's voice breaks the quiet. "Our class project was to write a letter to an unknown soldier serving in Irag. I thought that's cool, my dad is in Irag. So I wrote the uknown soldier just like I'd write my dad."
'Dear Soldier- You are missed. Come home soon. Love Andy. '
The teacher collected our letters and took care of mailing them. None of us expected
to hear anything more. Several weeks later a letter from Irag arrived at my school. It was for me. My letter had reached my very own dad.
