Attack on Christmas

It happens every year at this time. People attack Christmas. They point out the wreath, the candy cane even the Christmas tree is not biblical. They'll say Xmas (taking Christ out), Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings. The Christmas display on my town green has long been removed by court order. Major retailers like Best Buy, Office Max, Sears, Staples and Walgreens didn't mention the word Christmas in advertising last year. Their reason, "they didn't want to offend people," other than Christians that is.

This month our pastors preached a series on "The Baby changes everything," The Baby in a manger. That's biblcal. That's priceless. For eveything else there is a chage card.
