How Would You Play it?

He is stuck and discouraged. I tell him I prayed about our meeting today and asked the Lord for the words to say. I am lead to the story of the talents.( Matthew 25) I ask him what does that parable mean to you? He says being accountable for what we are given. “Use your God-given talent,” I add. I read him the conclusion of the story.

The Master says, “Take the 1000 talents and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this cautious one who won't go out on a limb. Throw him out into the utter darkness."
