Cantaloupe is my favorite fruit. I marvel at the Master Gardener who conceived this delicious and wholesome food. We plant the seed, maybe weed a little and then harvest the crop. Our partner provides the earth, the seed, the sun, the water and all that is needed for growth. He asks for the first ten per cent of the yield and we get to keep the rest. What a great deal.
Have I kept my part of the bargain? Have I thanked my Partner for my 90%? Have you?
“We made ordinances to bring the first fruits of our ground and the first fruits of all trees, year by year, to the house of the Lord.” (Nehemiah10: 35)
