Four boys hold a wooden car at the top of the ramp. At the signal they let go and the car roll toward the finish line all except one, my son's car. The wheels had bound up. I was mortified. My son was over it in a moment. His buddies were still his friend. I learned an important lesson that week. My son doesn't need a dad who is perfect at every thing, just one that loves him.
"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." (John 15:12)
