Tenebrae

I attended a Tenebrae supper at church eating soup and bread. I sat opposite Tom, I asked about his wife. He said she didn't go out much since they lost their son. The lights dimmed for the service. I noticed Tom was crying and I felt terrible. On Easter, there was a smiling Tom greeting people. I apologized but He laughed.
"Oh it wasn’t anything you said. “ I always cry at Tenebrae when I think of what my Lord went through."

“They will mock Him, and scourge Him and spit on Him and kill Him. Three days later Three days later He will rise again.” (Mark 10:34)
