Four of us are waiting standby at O'Hare airport. If we miss this flight we spend the night in Chicago.
I silently pray we’ll all make it to Hartford. An agent says there are three seats left in coach. The other three men sprint through the door and down the jet way while I stand there at the check in counter.
The agent holding our tickets says, "What's your name?" I tell her. She beckons with a finger and I follow her down the ramp into the crowded aircraft.
"You get to sit in first class,” she says.
"And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he." (Proverbs 16:20)
