September 13
I had completed all my credits at the university except four years proficiency in one foreign language. I had two in French years ago. I attended summer school and told the visiting professor my situation. He advised a tutor, one of his graduates.
The last week the tutor had me translate the same four pages until I got it right.
The dreaded day arrived. I opened the final exam and stared in disbelief. The passages to be translated were the same two documents I had worked on all week. It was a gift. A blessing from God.
“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.”
(Proverbs 10:22)
