The class assignment in Technical Writing is to prepare a detailed paper on the disassembly and assembly of something with several moving parts. My paper receives a passing grade and I now knew how to take my shotgun apart. I am feeling pretty smug .
A week later my mother says, " I found this under your bed, do you know what it is?" It is from the gun. I reread my paper twice but I had not recorded that piece coming off the gun or going back. I have no clue what it is. When I'm comfortable I'm close to a fall.
