Trick oo Treats Lord
October 31, 2013
Its Halloween, the craziest day on the American calendar. Have fun. Remember All Saints Day follows and that's an appropriate reminder to end the shenanigans and put away our masks for
another year. No tricks or treats Lord but honest living everyday humbly in your service.
"By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life." (Proverbs 22-4)

God's Gift of Memory
October 29, 2013
Think of what a priceless gift memory is. Without memory there would be no knowledge,
no anniversaries, birthdays or New Years. We wouldn't know our name or anybody else.
Thank God for memory.
"You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is God who gives you life."
(Deuteronomy 8:18)

How does God keep track?
October 25,2013
Ever wonder how God keeps track of all the things we do, what we think. and all our
prayers. How does God know what's in our hearts from all the other hearts?
One night, while reading, I found the answer. And of course it was the perfect answer.
Jesus explained it this way. "The Kingdom of God does not come visibly...because
the Kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21)

God uses ballons
October 10,2013
We attended a new community church in Florida which used balloons
to create a cheerful approach to its front door. Who doesn't like balloon.
The singing was lively and the greetings genuine. It was a happy place to worship.
"Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with a voice of triumph!
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!"
(Psalm 47: 1,6)

It takes three for a happy marriage
October 8, 2013
Joyous and I have various names we call each other for various moments and situations.
However, it is our focus to keep God in the center of our marriage that fills our house
with love.
"Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." (Matthew 19:6)

The Ultimate Question
October 3, 2013
It is perhaps one of the most important conversations in history.
Lazarus had died two days earlier and Jesus finally is arriving at his home.
Martha rushes out to greet him. "Lord if you had been here my brother would not have died."
Jesus responds: "Your brother will rise again."
Martha: I know that he will rise again in the resurrection in the last day."
Jesus: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me though he may die, he shall live."
Then he asks Martha the ultimate question that we must all answer.
Jesus asks Martha, "Do you believe this?" (John 11:21-26)
